Activities and outings
around the lodge

From Lodge Story, discoveries begin as soon as you step through the door. Nestled between the towns of Lens and Silly, our lodge is the ideal starting point for exploring a region where nature, heritage, and gastronomy converge.

Whether you enjoy walks , are passionate about heritage , a foodie , or simply looking for moments in the great outdoors, you'll find everything you need here to create a stay that suits you perfectly. And because we've lived here all our lives, we're sharing our favorite routes, our best addresses, and the little treasures that make our region so charming.

Explore the region by bike

Our walks starting from the lodge

Savor the local produce

Lodge Story is located on the border of the municipalities of Lens and Silly, both committed to the Slow Food movement, which promotes local, sustainable food that respects producers.

This richness is naturally reflected in the many artisans, farms, breweries, and producers that bring the region to life. Many of their products are even included in the breakfast baskets offered at the lodge.

In our Welcome Book, you will also find a selection of our favorite places: restaurants, bars , local shops, producers and little gems that we like to share with our visitors.

Between nature and heritage

The region is also full of must-see sites to discover.

Of course, Pairi Daiza is just a few minutes from the lodge. But your stay can also be an opportunity to visit the historic cities of Mons or Tournai, stroll through the gardens of Beloeil Castle, discover Enghien Park, or explore the many charming villages that make Hainaut so rich.

Whether you are a fan of culture, history or simply beautiful walks, there are many possibilities just a few kilometers from Lodge Story.

Our favorite places

We have compiled our best recommendations in the lodge's Welcome Book.

Restaurants, cafes, bars, local shops, local producers, bakeries, ice cream parlors or activities: you will find all our favorite places to fully enjoy your stay and discover the region like a local.

Want to go even further?

To discover other ideas for visits, activities or events, we also invite you to consult the websites of VisitWapi and VisitMons , which list the must-sees of Wallonia Picardy and the Mons region.
